What Is Juicing?

Juice extraction involves a process in which the fluid and most nutrients are extracted from raw fruits and vegetables. This process removes all solid matter, ie fiber, fruits and vegetables and leaves only liquid. This liquid is not only a moisturizing way to "drink water", it is also a good source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients found in fruits and vegetables that have made the juice - all in an easy drinking drink.

Is Juicing Healthy?

Juice can be part of a healthy diet when you add it to a diet already rich in whole foods, fiber, protein, healthy fats, carbohydrates, etc. It can be consumed at any time of the day, nothing more magical. terms of timing, what should be included in the recipe, what kind of juicer to do it, etc. Juice making is not part of a healthy diet when you rely solely on nutrition; you need to replace the juice with whole foods rich in fiber, use the juice instead of other types of care to treat you, etc. On this subject, if you are interested in the trend of celery juice, be sure to read our article on celery juice and what science tells us or does not say. If you sell juice at home or buy it at your local smoothies store, go for those that are all vegetable-based or green-vegetable-based. The tricky thing about juice is that sugar, even whole food fruits like apples, can really add up! Some juices will be marketed as healthy, but a small bottle of juice may contain three juice apples (over 50 g of sugar). When did you last eat three apples at one time? Another case for choosing all green vegetable juices is that the standard American diet already lacks vegetables, green vegetables and enough minerals, so why not try extracting them from a juice? Above all, have fun with the flavors you love! That's why I shared this juice Good Morning Juice, a green juice with lots of citrus and hints of ginger to keep it bright, tangy and refreshing.

A note on juice cleanses

Personally, I do not recommend fasting, cleaning or detoxifying you in which you only drink fruit juice. You can still enjoy the benefits of juice extraction while continuing to eat normally - and your normal bowel movements because there is no fiber in the juice, the simple fact of drinking juice can cause constipation in some people. Just start by adding a 100% green juice to your daily breakfast or wake up to it.

Bottom Line

Juice can be a wonderful addition to your already complete (and high fiber) diet! It's a refreshing way to stay hydrated, eat more nutrients than anything else, use vegetables in exciting new combinations, and enjoy the manufacturing process.
